The Academy of Achievement focuses on individuals who have shaped the 20th century by their accomplishments.  The academy's goal is to motivate and educate with these inspiring role models, one of whom is John Grisham.  This "easy to read" site contains an interesting interview with Grisham "on his life and times as a student, a lawyer and finally a writer."  Throughout the interview are sprinkled links to photographs and audio and video clips of Grisham.  Little information is given about his books, but for those who are curious about the "personal life of this very successful writer, this is the site for you."

The Online Mystery Network: John Grisham
http://www.mysterynet.com/grisham/
This site appears to be a "sales pitch" for John Grisham's The Street Lawyer, with a short summary of the novel, a link to the complete first chapter, and an invitation to buy the book.  However, there are some links that may be of interest to teachers, including "a bulletin board discussion of Grisham's works," and some lesson plans for teaching with mysteries in general.  The Mystery Network publishes mysteries to get reluctant students enthusiastic about reading, thinking and writing.

This is the official John Grisham website.  It offers brief summaries of all of Grisham's ten novels, print and audio excerpts, a letter from the author to his readers, a trivia quiz, and the most detailed biography available anywhere.  Although the emphasis of the site seems to be commercial in nature, it could be of interest to Grisham fans.
