I. Biography

Jerry Bledsoe was born in Danville, Virginia, on July 15, 1941. He grew up in Thomasville, NC, and graduated from Thomasville High School in 1959.  He was an only child and lived with his mother and father.  Bledsoe's father died early in Jerry's life. Bledsoe spent three years in the army.

Bledsoe currently lives in Winston-Salem.

III. Winston-Salem

Winston-Salem is located in the north-central area of North Carolina.  The climate is mild.  The population is about 170,000 people. Winston-Salem, High Point, and Greensboro form the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina.  This area is also known for Wake Forest University and Baptist Medical Center associated with the university.
