I. Biography
Michael Frederick was born on October 8, 1952 in Sioux City, Iowa. As a boy, he used to daydream about stories in school. This was his first "taste" of a life as a writer. He is a high school
graduate from Sioux City. He has one daughter and is still living in Sioux City. His hobbies include writing, hiking, selling his books and traveling. He was originally a screenwriter and has
written eight original screenplays, none of which have been published. In 1979, he published White Shoulders which sold 10,000 copies in two years. All 10,000 copies were
sold by him door-to-door. He also wrote Ledges which was published in 1998. Currently he is writing Paper Man, which should be out this summer.
