I.  Biography
Lynn Hall was raised in West Des Moines.  She graduated from Valley High School in 1955 and left Des Moines shortly after.  She worked as a veterinarian's assistant and ad agency writer in different areas throughout the U.S.  In 1965 she became a writer.  She has published more than 70 books since 1965.  Hall has received awards for her works including the Johnson Brigham award.  Hall has been writing full time in Elkader since 1971.
