I. Biography Sue Hart was born on April 15, 1936, in Detroit Michigan. She grew up there for a number of years, before moving around the country. Even when she was young she
developed a passion for writing. She loved writing because it was such a wonderful thing. "I think that it is a great thing (writing). There is always a challenge put forth,
and improvement can always be made." Since developing this passion for writing, she has carried it along with her for many years. After living in Michigan she moved to New York.
From New York she moved to Seattle, and from there to California. She finally did settle in Montana a few years later. When asking Hart what made her come to Montana, she said that she was given advice
from a marine many years back. He told her that Montana is a very beautiful place, and that she would love it. To this day she owes him deep gratitude.
Starting her schooling in a small woman's college in New York, she ventured to Missoula to finish her graduate degree. After receiving her degree, she eventually ended up in Billings, where she lives today.
Hart has been a wife, mother, teacher and writer for many years. All four of her children are grown and have children of their own. Most women find it overwhelming to be a wife and
mother. Not only is she these things, but she has also been an English teacher at Montana State University Billings since 1961. Along with juggling her teaching career, she has been able to be a successful writer. Hart said that she writes because she loves writing. She writes fictional pieces as well as factual pieces. She would like her reader to experience emotional and educational feelings,
as well as entertainment when reading her writings. She is glad to share her passion with others. She once wrote a fictional short story called Star Pattem 7, which she won a pen award for a fictional story.
Hart is a happily married woman. Her husband is also a writer. What a match made in heaven! They have a shared interest between the two of them. In her sixty- four years of
life, Hart has touched the lives of many people through her writing, and been an excellent wife and mother. Every writer has a life outside writing, which they graciously put aside so
that they may intrigue our lives with writing. Hart is a very exceptional woman, and her comment to literature is " I am addicted to mysteries". II. Literary Works Star Pattern-short story III. Works in Progress Monograph of Tomas and Elizabeth Savage
