I. Biographic Information

Reynolds Price was born February 1, 1933. He lived with his mother, Elizabeth, his father, William, and his brother, Will, in Macon, North Carolina. He went to college at Duke University in 1955 and Oxford University in 1958. His degrees were A.B and B.Litt. He currently lives in Orange County, North Carolina. Price is currently a James B. Duke Professor of English.

IV. Information on Durham

Durham is the home of Duke University and is known as Medicine City U.S.A.  Durham has 13 historic sites, 15 art centers or performance halls, 12 science and nature centers, has great baseball and basketball.  Durham has 218,000 residents.  Durham has nice weather as in warm summers and cold winters.
